As i know from other people, compiling QSvn on Mac OS X Leopard is a mess. The main problem are the old subversion packages delivered with the Leopard. These problems has Mike Corbett solved. He describe in a Blogpost how to  compiling QSvn on OS X Leopard.

Today i released QSvn 0.8.3. This new version is only a maintenance release. Only one new feature were added: You can now close QSvn through "Ctrl + Q" shortcut.

According to this a updated the libsvnqt to version 6.0.0 with any improvements for Subversion 1.6. Widows user can now enjoy the advantages from Qt 4.5.2 and Subversion 1.6.3. These are the versions, the precompiled installer files are linked against.

Now get QSvn 0.8.3 and enjoy it. Version 0.9.0 with new features and improvements will coming later.

Today i released QSvn 0.8.2. This is an windows only release. The source code is the same as in QSvn 0.8.1. Only some adjustments are made in order to compile QSvn against the subversion libraries in version 1.6.1. And this is the big change in this version.

According to the  Working copy upgrades in Subversion 1.6 i compiled QSvn against this new Subversion library. If you have installed another Subversion Client,  TortoiseSVN for example, aside QSvn you can now switch to the newer versions with the new working copy format.

So feel free to get the new version, install and enjoy it.

Yesterday i updated Trac to version 0.11. According to this the Macro RSSGet i used here to insert  QSvn-Blog-Posts from my own blog as news, doesn't work anymore. So i setup the  FullBlogPlugin here in the Trac-environment and converted all QSvn-posts from my own blog to this one. And here we are. This is the start of the QSvn-Blog.

I converted the most of my own blog posts about QSvn to this blog. Unfortunateley i can't convert the comments so i left the comments on their place. For new posts you have the ability to comment it here in this blog. For the moment you doesn't need an account to do this. Mayby i'll change this in the future...

As you can see at the right panel, you have the ability to subscribe to the RSS-Feed to be updated with news about QSvn. So you can't miss anything about your preferred Subversion client ;-)

Today i released QSvn 0.8.1. This is a maintenance Release and only fixes some bugs. One is a crash when QSvn should show a difference between two revisions of a file without an external Diff-Viewer. The other fixes a link error on Mac OS X. So QSvn 0.8.1 build successfull on Apple machines, i hope. I can’t test it in lack of a Mac. If you would spend me a Mac, feel free to do so :)

According to my last post, you can now submit Bug-Reports and Feature-Requests without register an account first. So feel free to do it. Hopefully more Feature-Requests than Bug-Reports ;)

Since i moved the QSvn projectpage to  trac there are no Screen Shots online anymore. This terrible time is over now. ;) Today i created a new page full with Screen Shots. I don’t know if i would upload the old Screen Shots also. But i’ll upload Screen Shots of coming releases.

I also changed the permission for create new tickets to anonymous. So everybody can create new tickets with bug reports or feature requests. So feel free to use this feature without to register an account.

Today i released QSvn 0.8.0. Some of the new features in the new versions is the capability to change any log messages and authors from svn commits. Arund this i implement some other little features thats makes the live with QSvn a little bit easier. So please read the Release Notes, download your copy and enjoy the new version.

If you find any error or have suggestions for a feature release please fill out a ticket in the Bug Tracker. To do so you must register a user account first.

After some questions about to contact to QSvn author and other users i started the  QSvn Mailing List today. You can subscribe to the list and mail your questions, suggestions and answers to questions from others to the list. If it is necessary i’ll create more detailled lists such as QSvn-users, QSvn-developers and so on…

QSvn 0.7.1 fixes a bug on windows systems. QSvn 0.7.0 doesn’t show unversioned files anymore. QSvn 0.7.1 fixes this problem. According to this i updated linked libraries to Subversion 1.5.2, Qt 4.4.3 and svnqt 5.0.1.

After the Release of QSvn 0.7.0 i have worked with it for a while now. In this time i found any issues and thinks, that can work better. So i created some new tickets. These and some older ones i have scheduled for QSvn 0.8.0. I think and hope that i can release the next version of QSvn later this year. The tickets are not to heavy in development but my sparetime is very rare the next couple of weeks. But i’ll look what i can do :)

For the moment enjoy QSvn 0.7.0 and report any issues with it to the ticket system. Remember that you must be logged in in order to create a new ticket. If you don’t have an account yet, simple register a new one.

I’m proud to announce you the release of QSvn 0.7.0. The new version now supports the merge-feature. You can merge changes from a specified URL into you local working copy or you can select changes in the log window to merge these changes to any of your local working copy.

For more informations about new features, changes and fixes in QSvn you can view the Release Notes. QSvn is available in source code and in a precompiled Windows-Installer. The Windows-version is compiled with  Subversion 1.5.1-Libraries. You can find the files in the Download-Section.

Please Remember: When you upgrade from an older QSvn version on Windows Systems, you must uninstall the old one before you install QSvn 0.7.0. Your QSvn-settings are left on your system, when you uninstall the old QSvn-installation.

Today i finished my works on QSvn 0.6.1. This release only fixes some bugs. New features are developed for QSvn 0.7.0. You can view the Release Notes and download the source packages or a precompiled Windows-Binary.

After a bug report in building QSvn from sources i uploaded a new qsvn-0.6.0-src.tar.gz. The new src.tar.gz doesn’t contains the subversion administrative directories.

QSvn 0.5.1 is a Windows only Binary Release. It closes a security issue on Windows System with the new released  Subversion 1.4.5.

After Trolltech has released their brand new Qt4 i have started the port to Qt4. So in the next couple of days or weeks the trunk is in heavy development.
